Attach a couple of vise clamps to the garage door tracks just below the bearings for the second panel. Remove the clip that holds the clothes hanger by pulling the center portion of the clip away from the panel. This will hold the upper part of the door in place when you remove the 2 by 4 inch prop to get at the center bracket of the lower panel. Remove the screw that is located near the now exposed area of the door handle.

Once loose lift up and away from the door to remove the panel. Step 1 remove the door panel. Remove the door speaker by removing the four screws holding it in place. Remove the cover for the side mirror access.

Begin by removing the two phillips screws located on the bottom of the door panel then remove the screw up near the side mirror. Carefully peel back the plastic moisture shield away from the door skin so that you don t rip it. Lift up and out on the door panel to remove it. The next screw to remove is down in the map pocket of the door.

This will disengage the clip. Next remove the screw from the very front underside of the armrest near where the switch panel is. Step 2 remove window regulator assembly. This will allow easier removal of the door panel.

Once you ve removed those five screws use a door panel removal tool or putty knife and work your way around the outside of the panel to release it from the plastic retention clips. Carefully peel back the plastic cover on the door making sure not to rip it if possible. Watch the edge near the door to avoid damage to the trim in that area. The rest of the panel is held in place by plastic clips behind the panel.
