How to repair felt shed roof.

Hi guys and welcome to my video. If the latter it requires a simple repair job with a small patch piece of felt and some felt adhesive that can be done quickly and easily. Most likely your garden shed roof is not immediately ready for installation especially if it is flat. Spread the felt flat onto the roof and nail along the top edge of the felt.

Simply cut a patch of green mineral felt 50mm 2 larger in every direction than the repair requires. We had a problem with our shed workshop flat felt roof leaking and needed a quick repair. Start at the lowest edge and nail your felt along the facia. Ensure the mating surfaces is clean and dry they apply adhesive to the damaged area and the underside of the repair patch. Replacing felt on a flat roof if your shed has a pent roof flat with no ridge you can apply the felt in exactly the same way as you would for one side of a pitched roof. Also strip any old felt that may already exist.
