Predrill and drive 10d galvanized finish nails to firmly fasten the molding.
Position the door by wedging a shim between the door and the frame.
To do so nudge a thin blade or a flathead screwdriver between the door frame and the retaining strip gently pry it from the top of the glass and work your way in the opposite direction.
To be safe take the top glass off the track to prevent it from breaking.

Storm doors are usually held together by very small screws in its corners in very small and tight spaces.
