When it comes to removing a door hinge pin there are 2 ways to go about it.
How to take a hinge pin out of the door.
Wait for 10 to 15 minutes for the spray to penetrate the hinge.
Take them out and lightly tap them in until the pin is at least slightly intersecting with the hinge and door.
Tap the bottom of the hinge pin with a hammer and screwdriver to pop up the pin.
With the weight of the door hanging on the top hinge work the other hinges together.
That will allow you to work it over and drive the pin out while in a vise with no risk of damaging the door or jam.
Push a hinge pin into whichever hinge lines up first then tap in the remaining pins.
If so i would take the hinge off the door and jam.
Close the door to take some of the weight off the hinge.
Simply spray the lubricant into the gaps under the hinge cap the hinge bottom.
The hinge pins are down tight and i don t know how i can get them out.
If the hinge pin continues to resist easy removal a few squirts of household lubricant will likely help ease it out.
Wrong way to remove a hinge pins.
If the door you re working with has a middle hinge leave that one for last.
Spray a silicone lubricating spray over the moving parts of the hinge as well as into the top part of the hinge around the pin.
If it s a two hinge door you might have to support the door a bit while you have the one hinge off or with someone steadying the door remove the door by unscrewing the hinge.
To help alleviate the gravity concerns you should start with the top pin then the bottom.
You put the screwdriver or nail at the bottom of the hinge touching the bottom of the hinge pin and knock it out with a hammer.
To put the door back on the hinges grab the door at the center and tip it slightly toward the top engaging the knuckles of the top hinge.
