Some cars may have a manual window crank that needs to be removed.
How to take off a manual window handle door panel.
So lift the trim panel out and up.
The diagram below shows how the door panel removal tool is used.
All you need is a couple of flat head screwdrivers.
Skip to step 3 if you have power windows.
This video should do the trick.
Take a screwdriver and remove the screw.
Remove the snap ring and pull the handle straight off of its shaft.
Hold the door handle latch open and look for a fastening screw at the base of the latch.
Lift the door latch and remove the screw attaching it to the panel.
Rear door panels.
If you need to remove your door panels to paint them install electric power windows or put new speakers in.
Pull up on the towel at the point where the handle connects to the door to release the snap ring.

Remember during assembly the factory guys put the top of the door panel on first.
As soon as the door panel is lose you ll notice that it s still connected with wires to the door switches.
Take a metal pick tool and wedge it behind the crank.
The tool simply slides into the crevasse of the pin to create a holing spot when prying the door panel retaining pin away from the door.

Step 6 slide the door panel up and off the window sill.
