What you ll want to do is loosen both of those usually with a small allen key and you will be able to slide one side of the handle off.
How to tighten shower door towel bar.
Most the time simply taking a screwdriver and tightening the screws will re secure the towel bar and keep it from wobbling or coming loose.
Make sure it is reachable but also not problematic when the door opens.
Others have a decorative cover that hides the screws.
The easy fix is to simply tighten the screws until snug.
Determine location for brackets by utilizing the included template.
Hand tighten the conehead screws with a flathead screwdriver until the threaded towel bar is secured to the glass.
Step 4 reinstall the shower.
Step 3 replace the towel bar.
Step 1 remove the shower door.
Even that tricky towel bar with no set screws is covered.
Once it is off look at the 2 posts it was mounted to those are what you want to tighten.
On some towel bars you can actually see the screws that hold the bar in place.
Apply each bracket by peeling off the backing and pressing it into place.
Step 2 remove the towel bar.
Insert toggle bolts in each bracket.
Loosen the set screws under the towel bar and remove it from the wall.
They usually have 2 styles one with either a flathead screwdriver or larger allen key.
If needed enlarge the bracket holes in the drywall with a screwdriver and insert the toggle bolts in the holes.
Loosen the bracket screws and remove the brackets from the wall.
Use the provided allen wrench to fully tighten the set screws and secure the towel bar in place.
The frames of shower doors are somewhat flimsy and weak and so stuffing a town in between the frame and the towel bar won t help it to stay together.
Place the other towel bar over the conehead screws and thread the set screws into the threaded holes.
You may have to use a larger screw to get some bite from the handle.
Rather use a screw with slightly larger threads.
They become loose over time and will pull out if not repaired.
Don t use a longer screw as this may push through the back of the towel bar.
