Clean the surface of your wall with a 1 1 solution of water and rubbing alcohol.
How to use wall anchors to hang pictures.
Get an approximate weight of the picture you re trying to hang.
Hammer the anchor in until it s flush with the wall.
Step 1 mark the intended location of the plastic anchor with a pencil.
Remove the back liner from the adhesive strip and apply it directly to the wall where you want to hang your picture.
Gently tap the plastic anchor into the wall using a hammer or rubber mallet.
You can also use one anchor and screw combo as the primary holder and add a smaller anchor to hold the object steady.
If using a threaded drywall anchor screw it in using a phillips head screwdriver.
Use adhesive strips and utility hooks designed to hold the size of your frame.
Next take your screw and begin driving it into the anchor.
Insert the screw into the anchor and slowly screw it in.
Use a screwdriver and twist clockwise until the hook is in place.
Just place the screw into the hole in the picture hook and match it up with the hole in the wall anchor.
Screw a picture hook onto the wall anchor.
Some wall anchors already have a stud in them for hanging pictures in which case you can skip this step.
Make sure to position your shelf or whatever you re mounting up to where you want it and then drive in the screw.
If using a toggle anchor thread the toggle on the screw about 1 4 inch from the end.
Use two anchors to hang larger pictures and provide greater holding power and stability.
